Has the plumber fixed the boiler ?

So, the plumber went to Moms yesterday and looked at why the water was just running cold. It seems it was as easy as there was no water in there and it just needed topping up. They did this and it seemed to do the trick. No one has ever told us that we need to check and top up with water. Now , however, it seems that there is a problem with the water in the shower….. The plumber is coming on Friday as The Mister will be there then….Mom and myself don’t really understand how all these things work so it’s better that he talks to The Mister about it. Hopefully it will be nothing serious.

I hope the problem can be solved quickly and cheaply. Plumbing problems can be expensive sometimes.

Hope those plumbing issues aren't serious and it's an easy fix.

I've never heard of "topping up a boiler"... Those things are supposed to take care of themselves with nothing more from us until they need replaced every 30 years or so. I've never had to do anything to one except pay a plumber to come put in a new one at one house I owned. I just stayed out of his way and let him do his job. He never talked about his work, either. He came in, looked at the new boiler I'd paid for (I got all the details from the previous boiler [We call them water heaters.]) and installed it, told me how much to pay him, took his check and left. All done...
