Expensive Auction Day

I spent 45 dollars today. 30 of that was on eggs. But that is 10 dozen. I talked to the seller and he said they are unwashed and did have roosters with the hens. So I have 6 very dark brown eggs and 2 green eggs resting from being hauled. I will put them in the incubator tomorrow. A friend likes the green eggs so I will give her those chicks if they hatch. I also got 2 cantaloupe, 2 boxes of chocolate cookies and 2 plastic storage totes. That was the other 15 dollars. The cookies are good. The cantaloupe is too but needs to ripen a little more to be excellent. I cut one that we ate on with dinner. Nobody showed up for euchre tonight so we are back home early. I just need to water plants and later put the chickens up. I did get a tiny egg this afternoon. So another one has started laying. Hope you had a good day.
