The candy company has announced that it will be raising prices by a "low double digit percentage" due to the increased cost of cocoa. (climate change anyone? tariffs anyone?
)
I am not into sweets in general so this really won't affect me. I keep chocolate on hand for baking but certainly not Hershey's. Even if other companies jack up the price I will be able to handle it because like I said I use it only occasionally for baking. I'm not someone who eats chocolate bars or Hershey Kisses all day long.
It will be interesting to see what this does to the price of Halloween candy though!

Rising ingredient costs prompted Hershey to raise prices on chocolate products, and the company noted the change is unrelated to tariffs or trade policies.

I don't eat much chocolate but I do enjoy a Hershey now and then. I feel bad for those people who love their candy and I can agree that Halloween will be expensive.

We do have it in the Uk , although you still have to search for it sometimes ….its not widely available.I have tried some and whilst it is nice , I wouldn’t rave about it. Also I think it is already expensive. I doubt I will be buying it again !

When I read about this the other day I was going to buy a chocolate bar; however, I opted for cinnamon bears and ice cream instead.
