Some of my problem with these is the same with vegan recipes and some vegetarian recipes. They take a lot of ingredients and are hard to prepare. I am making my heart health a priority, but can not and will not spend all day in the kitchen. Suggestions other than just fish dishes with a basic sauce are appreciated.

Check the Skinnytaste blog. She has a lot of good stuff and none of it is particularly difficult to prepare.

My summer delight is taking frozen fruit, putting it in the microwave for about 20 seconds, then cutting it into small pieces and putting it in a blender with a little water and sweetener. I call it “fake sorbet.” Great for these hot days!

Lazy me. I slice tofu into bites and toss them into brown rice. I use soy sauce and garlic powder and nutritional yeast to enhance the meal. Also cook frozen vegies like cauliflower or broccoli on the side. I've also tossed in pineapple bits and ginger.

I could eat that. Of course I only have white rice now, but I guess I could mix it. Cauliflower rice is also edible.

Beetroot soup is very good for the heart. I am a heart patient and make it for myself. Your just have to boil them and blend it with some ginger. Sprinkle pepper and small cubes of cheese.
