Interesting Bits About Dreams?

I'm always interesting in whatever I can find about dreams and sleeping. I found a short quiz on dreams and thought I would share the bits of info that came out of that.
* The most common dream that people have is the that of falling. ( I used to have them a lot when I was young and just getting to sleep)
* The average person dreams nightly.( I might dream nightly but I don't remember them very often.)
* 10 to 15 percent of our dreams are nightmares ( I've never had one that I recall.)
* Less than 10% of our dreams are erotic ( that's a shame.)
* A person can actually dream that they have woken up. ( Weird)

It's really rare for me to remember my dreams... Usually, I only remember them if something/someone wakes me up while I'm dreaming.
I stopped watching scary movies after I woke the neighborhood up screaming one night. (The neighbor across the street thought I was being murdered so was pounding on the door... I was so embarrassed!)

@DaddyEvil I have wondered how J. Dahmer got away with his horrors cause he lived in an apartment. Didn't somebody notice??? Or hear something??

I remember my dreams and they are very vivid and include all 5 senses. I don't dream that I'm falling. I have dreams that fit into about 6 or 7 categories. The same all the time. I've had 2 dreams about my husband; and they were both bad.

Interesting. Sorry that the ones about him were bad ones. Maybe over time they will change.

@celticeagle In both I was trying to either kill him or hurt him. I wonder if subconsciously it is because of the cheating.

Too often I am dreaming about being somewhere and losing my car. Or I dream about houses- one or two have been spooky enough that I remember them even though they happened years ago.

Some of my dreams include walking around the streets of Metairie Louisiana seeing the restaurants and a levee near the 17t street canal.
