It took me almost three months for my sister to agree to take part in the Xmas event where she will be the Santa on wheel My sister cannot walk and this party will be for seniors in our school hall. It will be her ninetieth birthday We will arrange to pick her up from her house and see that she is comfortable I have looked for some Santa outfits that she will be comforitable wearing. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I hope your sister has a wonderful birthday... If it's okay to ask, why did it take three months to convince her to do the Santa on wheels thing? (I would have asked once and left her alone if she said "no" to the idea. I don't like being pushed to do something and usually, don't like doing it if I feel like I've been forced into it.)

@allknowing You force them to do things even when they don't want to?

Three months of convincing? You deserve a medal and a cookie! But hey, worth it—your sister’s about to be the most legendary Santa on wheels ever, just in time for her 90th! Love that you're making sure she’s comfy and all set for the big day. Honestly, this party’s going to be iconic. Seniors, Santa, and some serious good vibes. Fingers crossed everything goes smooth—but with your planning, I’d say it’s more of a sure thing than a maybe.

Oh that is a nice thing to do for her. I hope she gets as much pleasure out of it as the seniors will. She will be the star of the show.

@allknowing I worked with the elderly for many years who would be a bit stubborn but you can cajole them round eventually. I hope you both have a brilliant time.

I hope she will enjoy being the Santa and will not regret saying yes.
