When the tomato seeds can sprout?

I made a nice hydroponic container and bought the tomato seeds. I don't know when the tomato seeds can sprout. Unfortunately I can't find tomato seedlings around, otherwise everything will be easier. Now it's hot and buying the tomato seedlings online is not a good idea as they may be dead on the way even if it just spends two days.

Tomato seeds usually sprout in 5 to 10 days if you keep them warm and moist. Seedlings grow fast after that.

Does the water below contain any nutrients, or is there a plan to introduce fish whose waste could serve as nourishment for the plants above?

@youless It would be interesting to see if that project works and if the plant can grow and bear fruit. I’d like to try something similar using my aquarium to grow plants, but it feels like a bit of a gamble since my tank is small and has fish in it. I’ve noticed that the aquatic plants in my tank can’t consume all the nutrients, which is why algae grows. Maybe adding plants on top to fully absorb the nutrients could solve my algae problem.

@rsa101 You can try to grow sweet potato in your tank as it can grow with water. But it is more like a decoration for your tank and just don't expect to have a harvest

Even a rotten tomato thrown in the dump will soon produce seedlings from the seeds. May be in 5 to 7 days

This is the point. Sometimes when you take care something very much, such as my orchids. But they still die. Some people even just throw their orchids in the balcony and don't care about them, they still grow well. Nothing is fair

If you cannot find tomato seeds, but a tomato, remove the seeds and use them. This is what I always did. When I sowed it took from 3 to 6 days to sprout.

I bought the tomato seeds and the tomato size is small and very suitable for pots. I also took the seeds from a normal fresh tomato. I think in this way at least some of the seeds will sprout.

@youless Usually those I took from the fresh tomatoes were those that spouted faster.

Exactly as DaddyEvil said 5-10 days they should germinate.

I hope so. Sometimes I am afraid whether it will sprout at last. If not, then the waiting time seems to be in vain.

I hope you're able to find some plants to put in your container.
