The Liar In Chief said yesterday that it was taken care of and prices were way down. Well today's report says that inflation is UP and this is before Trump's insane tariff crap really kicks in. I'm no economist but even I could have told you this was coming. I can't wait to see the MAGAs on government assistance crying in a few months when the impact of this stupidity really takes effect. They voted for this insanity.

I just checked and according to AI, the current US inflation rate (CPI) is 2.7%. The UK’s 3.6%. I think ours is very much affected by what happens over there. Our prime minister has been trying to cut a deal with DT to reduce the tariffs, which has a big impact on our economy. He says he loves us, so all should be well.

@NJChicaa You probably saw my post about that one. But I used the 600 per cent figure. I wonder how much it cost his dad to get that poor guy through "Wharton School of Business."

My most recent favorite was his claim that he was bringing down the cost of medications by 1000%. That's not even mathematically possible. But hey he's the one who went to the school of finance, right?

All I've been hearing are reports of companies increasing their prices -- Walmart, Hershey, etc.
