Do you have flowers in your house …..real,or artificial ?

My Mom buys flowers every two weeks. They are £4 per bunch or 2 for £6. She gets the two bunch deal. It works out at just £3 per week and she gets quite a lot for that. I , on the other hand, don’t buy flowers ….i am given them sometimes …. I have hay fever so tend to stay away from having fresh flowers in the house ….there is nowhere for the pollen to go except up my nose ! I do however like flowers and so I have several artificial flowers arrangements. They are all top quality and you honestly can not tell that they aren’t real ! The first one my Mom made for me as a welcome home after being away on holiday. The other two I bought from the garden centre. Well, Mom paid for one for my Birthday and I bought the other. They all go brilliantly with the decor, they don’t make me sneeze or my eyes water or swell, and they will last a lifetime. Win win I say. Do you have flowers in your home ? Are they fresh or artificial ?

Nope... We used to bring flowers in from our yard but I started having allergic reactions to everything we brought in so stopped. I am allergic to dust, too, so don't want artificial flower, either. (I wear a mask when Pretty dusts or vacuums the carpets and for several hours afterwards.)

@Traceyjayne Not any more... I won't even smell the flowers blooming in our yard anymore. I do miss smelling honeysuckle and roses the most. (We have two types of honeysuckle growing at the edge of the forest in our back yard.)

@DaddyEvil that is a shame, but you do have to think of your health.

We have fake ones in the house. The cats get at too many of the real ones, and many are poisonous to cats, so we don't keep them. Plus, my wife could kill a cactus, so...there's that. lol

Yes, real flowers are not great with cats around.

I have loads of plants including geraniums and a sunflower plant that are flowering. (my hibiscus sadly is not this year) I also have a beautiful bouquet of preserved flowers sitting here on the table that make me very happy. They aren't artificial but they are somehow preserved.
