The pool is closed

because some teenager who could never get me out of the pool anyway didn't show up. I hate this. Just let me swim at my own risk. I'm a grown up. I know how to swim. I'll be fine. Nope the gate is locked and all of my pool buddies are beyond angry. It is a beautiful Saturday morning in August and the pool (that they make us pay for) isn't open? Unacceptable. I'm going to eat something and go nap to try to get my blood pressure down. This is absolute BS.

The rebel in me thinks you should gather your pool buddies and storm the office...and demand a refund of the pool charge you had to pay that you weren't supposed to have to. I wish you could move, and get away from Mr. Smoky and not having to have 3 floors to climb.

The thing I always hated about those residential pools is, at least here they have to close for 20 minutes after a thunder clap. Never would fail 15 minutes later there would be another one. One non storm could close the pool for the night

I would almost think they’d let you sign a waiver to swim at your own risk. Before they were too lazy to fix our pool they just didn’t bother with a lifeguard here. Even way back when I lived somewhere nicer they didn’t have a lifeguard.
