My Friends collection

I don't really collect stuff. I mean I guess you could call my cookbooks a collection though I just acquire them because I'm interested in cooking and buy them when I find one that interests me. I have a modest collection of Mexican fish glassware but that was just because I was given most of it and I'd add a piece each year we were there. Yes I have several Le Creuset cooking/baking pieces but that is more a function of how much cooking and baking I do.
My Friends collection though. . . with my recent health issues I've been having morbid thoughts about what my family would think if they had to clear out this place. They don't know much about my life these days but I would like to think they know that Friends is one of my favorite TV shows. There are signs all around this place.
Friends items in the apartment:
--all 10 seasons of the show on DVD
--frame around the peephole in the door
--"The cushions are the essence of the chair!" throw pillow
--sweatpants that literally say "apartment pants"
--kitchen towels
--tiny music box
--couch necklace
--cookbook
--doormat asking delivery drivers if Ross and Rachel were on a break
--coasters
--dishwasher magnet indicating clean/dirty
--t-shirt for end of year at work that says "we are on a break"
There are more things I'm forgetting I'm sure but that's what I can think of off the top of my head. Most of it was given to me but I'm never one to turn down buying a fun Friends thing. The show got a revival during COVID when the kids were all stuck at home. All of these years later I ask them about it and the students have no clue what I'm talking about. Their loss!

Not knowing about “Friends” is another thing wrong with this country. There is no way most of them wouldn’t love the show if they saw it. I was watching a sports show, and a guy said his teen daughter had to recover from surgery, and she binged every episode of Friends, and was now obsessed. That is a proper obsession, I say.

That's a shame that they're not familiar with Friends...It's in the top 3 of my favorite shows.

I couldn't miss Friends when it was on the first time and I have all 10 seasons on DVD but nothing else here would say "This guy loved Friends!"
It's weird to think people don't know/remember Friends.

I lived watching it with my kids. They still like it, too.

You just collect admirers I bet.
That's something you and I have in common
