My pet cat TikTok pees on me after feeding him. Will I face bad luck?

Today, I feed my pet cat TikTok with three pieces of fish. I was sitting while watching him eat, and then after eating, TikTok walked away slowly, and as I followed him, he suddenly peed on me. I was stunned to see his pee went straight to the left side of my breast. I spanked him, but it seemed he didn't care. He sat down on our terrace as if nothing had happened. I did not tell my sister. She might punish my pet. One of the superstitions in my place is once a dog pees on you, you will be unlucky for 7 years, and that’s what worries me. What can you say, my friends? I am disturbed. Is there a significant connection between a cat’s pee and luck for a human being?

@cacay1 Yes, the first time I was peed by a dog was when I was reviewing for my board exam.. It's in the store where we used to buy some stuff. I wasn't able to move because the dog was very big... It wasn't aggressive but still, I was scared...

Cat urinate and spray as a way of communicating. This could be because of other reasons like territorial marking, stress or anxiety and even a medical issue. Have you checked with a vet?

I don’t think that you are facing bad luck. TikTok must have a good aim to reach that part of your body with his pee.

Never hit a pet...they remember it forever, and it does not help. Your cat may have a medical issue. They only understand hitting/spanking/whatever it's called, as pain and shock, and can't comprehend why you would do that. It can even make the problem you are trying to correct, worse than ever.

Oh no—not the left side of your chest! TikTok really went all out with that surprise. After enjoying his fish, he gave you a “thank you” that nobody ever wants. But believe it or not, cats sometimes pee on people not out of spite but to mark territory or show attachment—yep, that’s their version of love (uninvited, of course). It can also be stress, a reaction to changes around them, or even a sign of a medical issue. So while it’s gross and super confusing, it’s not always personal—just very cat.
As for the superstition—thank goodness that 7 years of bad luck usually sticks to dogs, not cats! Unless TikTok is secretly leading a double life as a chihuahua, you’re probably safe. Just chalk it up to an unlucky moment, not a cursed life. But maybe keep a towel and a side-eye ready for the next fish offering... just in case.

@rsa101, thank you my friend for the valuable answer to my doubts. I was also told by my friend that it was a sign my pet thanking me. Perhaps, you're right, because my pet was so full after eating three pieces of fried fish. I was also stunned because I'm always feeding my pet fried fish and chicken wings several times. I cannot believe, it was so sudden. I'm relieved thank you my friend.

I asked AI about this
AI say the superstition is just that with no evidence to back it up.
