Back from the pool

Man I put in WORK today! I was there for almost 5 hours. I was the first one there (as usual) but some others slowly trickled in. It was busier on a Monday than it usually is on a Saturday or Sunday. The water was cooler than it has been but it was fine once you just got in. I floated on the pool mat for a bit. Then it became overtaken by kids. I don't care if they play on it. I didn't get to talk to one of my pool buddies much because she had her best friend and her daughter there so I wound up chatting with another one. I'm not mad about it. Had no time to even try to get back into the book I've been reading. Oh well maybe tomorrow. It was really nice over there today. I normally do 3 hours but today it was 5. I just couldn't get myself to leave. I was getting a little stressed toward the end because so many kids were on the pool mat. I didn't care that they were using it but I wanted it to get put away. I was about to talk to the lifeguard about it when they all dispersed. I told my friend's daughter to go get it. She did and I was able to put it in the shed. It will be there for at least another day. My tan is beyond on point by now. My highlights are getting light. Life is good today.
