Firefighters with the Mifflintown Hose Company answered an emergency call on Thursday July 31 when an auto fell down on a 30 foot embankment on United States Highway 322 in Juniata County in Pennsylvania.
The firefighters used a ladder and a rope to rescue the driver who was inside the auto and take the driver out of the auto safely.
The driver whose gender and name were not released to the public was then taken via an ambulance to Mifflintown Airport where a helicopter took the accident victim to a trauma center where the condition of the driver was not released to the public,

I'm glad they knew he was down there. That's always my fear...that no one would know I was there.

You are right that a fall of 30 feet is very dangerous.

It was good that they carried such a long ladder with them, and it could be used to rescue the car driver.
