Early to work....

Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 8:19 AM here. I reached quite early to work today. I have another 15 minutes here and I thought to peep in and post an update from my corner.
It's a damp morning after a night long light shower. The rain refuses to go away any soon. It's clouds and dark since morning. No rain or drizzle since morning but no signs of sun either.
Woke up earlier than my usual time. So, I was ready before usual time and left home early. Chose to walk slowly to work and still I was before time. Good to have some time to settle in. I plan to walk back home in the afternoon unless it starts pouring. I have umbrella with me for drizzling. But if it rains heavy, I will have to take a ride in the car with the assistant teacher. My home comes on her way. I just will need to wait for an hour more as she works till 1 PM. I can do that. There is always something to keep me engaged.
Hope August has started well for you. This is my first post in the month. Wishing that all good things happen to you in this new month.
It's the usual busy life on this side with work, chores, afternoon sessions, family etc. But I do get some time to be online. In the last few days, I have been on other sites in that time. MyLot is a bit slow on my side and so, I chose other sites. I hope that it works in the afternoon. I would like to come again here in the afternoon. Keeping fingers crossed.

myLot works slowly for all of us and has glitches from my time around midnight until between 1:30 am and 2 am (Your time 10:30 am and noon to 12:30 pm, I think. I'm doing mental exercises to work out the time differences between us and you. I hope I got it correct, too. ) I think, but don't know for sure, that myLot is recompiling at that time so the server myLot is based on runs slower and that is what is causing problems for us all..
The weatherization work on our rental house has gone fairly smoothly and is almost done. The construction guys have to wait for the window company to custom fit all our windows with new storm windows before they can come and install them. I hope that part also goes smoothly. We can tell a big difference already during the heat of summer and hope we feel and see a big difference during our winter months, too.
We finally have some extra money each month and are slowly doing things we've missed doing since I left Walmart in January 2021.
I hope you have a good walk home and you see sunshine before you leave school today.

@arunima25 I have another site, too, but don't use it a lot... I don't really understand how to use it and it pays with crypto... Not my favorite kind of payment. I am making some pennies on it, though.
Thanks. I hope they get the storm windows replaces before cold weather gets here.
We've been getting storms/rain the last few days that we really needed. On days with sun, it's been too hot here for me to be willing to go outside.

Now, it makes sense. Generally I would get a break time around 10:30_11 AM when I try to peep in here for a while and the slowness pushes me to the other site

@DaddyEvil I don't understand crypto and just stay away from the sites that pay in crypto. I stick to those that pay through PayPal or some gift vouchers of Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra etc.
Good that rain and storm has brought relief from heat. Better to stay indoors on a hot day.
I hope that the storm windows are replaced in time.

I prefer to reach a little early to work. Gives some space to settle down and breath. But this was too early.

@Deepizzaguy That sounds great. I have put on some weight with recent surgery and hormonal imbalance. It's 5 kg more than my normal healthy weight. Now that I am fully recovered from the surgery and slowly getting back to being physically active, I am going to get serious with exercise and diet. I am too focusing on my weight loss.

I am fully recovered from the surgery. Doctor says that I can go ahead with my normal life, just need to listen to my body and not overdo it
