A New Supper Guest and Another Ouch

For the third time in three years, I ended up in a heap in the middle of the road. For a change, I wasn’t left limping, but my wrist suffered somewhat and I’ve not been able to type. Seem to be over the worst of it.
When I hit the deck, I landed on my left side, so wrist and shoulder were unhappy. Weirdly, I had fairly colourful scrapes on my right leg. It took me a couple of days to find two small scabs on my left leg. What was most irritating was that I chipped a front tooth, but don’t know how, there was no other injuries to face or mouth.
On a happier note, it has been a good few years since I’ve had a hedgehog to supper, but it was very good to see one again. I have been leaving extra food out for him. Fairly certain he comes around to eat, but I’ve not see him since the photo.

I bet you gritted your teeth as you went down... I always do if I'm falling and manage to chip my front teeth every time. Both my front teeth have small areas chipped out of them from me doing that.
I'm glad you weren't hurt badly when you wrecked.
Around here, you'd be enticing skunks, squirrels, raccoons and any stray cats and dogs if you put food out for any animals to find. A hedgehog would be a cute dinner guest in comparison.

@Ronrybs You're lucky. Skunks don't make the best dinner guests or roommates unless you take out their scent glands first.
One of my nieces had a skunk de-scented and kept it for a pet for years and years... It acted more like a cat than anything else.

Yes, I think that is what happened as I hit the deck. The other front tooth was a bit tender afterwards, but is almost back to normal. There are a couple of cat visitors I fed, A big grey is my favourite guest. Pleased to say we don't have skunks here, but foxes

We had a hedgehog cone to our garden a couple of months ago, but sadly it was only over a couple of weeks …we haven’t seen him in a while now.
I hope you are recovered now after your fall.

What an adorable porcupine. I hope you are now all right, I have an adorable opossum who comes for leftovers, When I feel sorry for it sitting after the food and wants more I have throwm it a hot dog through my door and I swear he looks up and thinks it comes from Heaven,

Anyway glad you're still among the living.

A hedgehog is something we do not get here. This one looks bigger than the ones I have seen for pets. What were you doing when you fell? Were you on a bike? Last time I tried to ride, I fell after I stopped. Not fun.

I've really sorry to hear you've had another fall. I won't make jokes about 'time for a three-wheeler'.
That's so nice that a hedgehog came to tea. We saw an echidna on the road when we took our son to Dryandra. That was a bit special too.
