So The Mister works away Monday to Friday ….he has different digs each week as he moves around a fair bit.
We speak several times a day which is nice.
On Monday he told me that a cat had given birth to kittens, this was on the land of the farm close to where he is staying at the moment.
He is a cat person and could tell that they weren’t very old. He had some food left over so he gave it to the Mummy cat. Since then he has fed her every night. He got some extra chicken and cooked that and put that out as well as his leftovers ….she has enjoyed the attention and the extra food.
He is worrying now though, as he is coming home tomorrow and will be in different digs next week so won’t be able to check on her and her kittens.

I'm sure there will be another kind-hearted person to feed them after he moves on.

Yes I’m sure there will be ….i think if she is used to seeing The Mister she probably will have been seeing other people too.

@Traceyjayne True... cats are leery around people they don't know unless they've been treated well by someone in their past.

If she is used to people moving in and out of the area it will not phase her. It will bother him more. It is so hard to resist kittens.

Maybe he can line up a kind soul to do it before he leaves.

He has only been staying there for four nights and unfortunately he doesn’t know anyone. He leaves for work around 6am and doesn’t get back til after 7pm so hasn’t met any of the locals.

We are hoping so. He’s not back in that area so he can’t check.

Hopefully someone else will step in and give the mother a bit of help.
