The sold house has been re sold …..I can’t keep up !

When we moved into our house there was an elderly gentleman living opposite. He was lovely and although he had family they didn’t visit very often despite only living a short drive away. Nothing to do with us, not our business. He sadly died last year. The day after he died the family swooped and removed ‘ valuable stuff ‘ then left again. The house lay empty for several months, then the family came now and again and started moving stuff. We heard the house had been sold privately, yet months later no one has moved in or even visited. I came back home today to be told by my neighbours that the house has been resold….and that was always going to be the plan. So the family maybe could have made more money if they had sold it a different way. The new owners will make money as a flip house. We still have to wait and see who will move in.
