I'm always curious about what might be the most spendy and what the most expensive of some items. Especially Chocolate which I love. Here are a few I found: * The most expensive chocolate is a dark type, Amedei Porcelana, made in Tuscany and costs $90 a pound. * A Hermes Kelly rose gold bag is said to have a price tag of $2,000,000.00 * The most expensive hotel stay in the US is said to be in Chicago at $2,175 a night. * The most expensive meal in the U S is at Masa in New York City. The Omakase meal is $750 a person, and is you choose the sushi counter it jumps to $950. * Kopi Luwak is considered to be the most expensive coffee in the U S and flucuates between $20 and $100 a cup. Do you think it is supply and demand or just what the 'elite' will pay?

It's what the market will bear. None of those things are worth that much!!!

Some people have more money than they know what to do with, and they find a certain cachet in saying "I paid $XXX for this."

Yes. It seems rather rediculous.

That's really quite expensive, and it reminds me of a saying. When you take a flight, no matter it's the economy, first or business class, you all arrive at the destination at the same time

Yes, indeed. It's what you want between take off and arrival that costs.

My son found a calligraphy pen that costs in the region of $44,000. It's studded with diamonds and other precious stones.
