So my cousin called and asked what my favorite fresh fruit were. I told her watermelon and a pineapple. So she said open your front door. And she gave me a fresh watermelon and a pineapple.
The watermelon was good to eat on this hot day.
At 9AM it was 100F
At noon it was 99F.
At 1PM it was 98F.
At 3PM it was 96F.
At 8PM it was 91F.
It has not gone down very fast. It is still very hot.

At least you don't have the humidity we do.
Its 1040pm here now and it 78 outside but 84 with real feel and 70 percent humidity.

@jstory07 I have a cantelope I need to cut open tomrorow. We're taking a break from watermelon. I probably spent $200 on Watermelons alone last month.

That was such a thoughtful surprise from your cousin—perfect fruit for a sweltering day like that! With temperatures hitting 100°F in the morning and barely cooling off by evening, I can imagine how refreshing that cold watermelon must have been. It sounds like one of those days where you just focus on staying cool, enjoying fresh fruit, and waiting the heat to break. It definitely feels like summer is in full swing there. Here, we’re in our rainy or wet season now, with temperatures becoming more temperate, though it’s still hot when it isn’t raining.

That's so nice of your cousin. I am sure that watermelon on a hot day would be so refreshing. It's raining and drizzling here non stop since Friday evening. It's cold and damp.

It's going to be around 90 today and very dry. That was nice of your cousin to bring you fruit.
