Oh how I would love to beat the heat.
Not eat a beet but beat the heat.
It would be neat to eat a beat in the heat.
Oh how I would like a treat of no heat for a day.
What do you think of a cold day to beat the heat for a day.
Here is some snow to make you cold on a hot day.

It has only snowed once here in the nine years we have been here.

@jstory07 Actually, it did snow here once in the early 2000s, it was a freak thing--there was like half an inch on everyone's lawns.

We haven't been having rain for last more than ten days. Still it is not hot here. Just the level of humidity is going up.
To bear the heat I prefer to drink a glass of normal cold water mixed with lemon juice.
