That bone scan was super easy

Although it took me awhile to get my act together this morning and drive all the way out there, the procedure itself was so simple. I had never been in the building, and I didn't know it was there honestly..I found it easily. When I walked in there were 8:or 10 people waiting for imaging, but I was non plussed. They had Internet, but I had my phone and A Vanity Fair and Time magazine. Neither of Whch I even got to look at .as once I answered a text I got sent right back. I answered a few questions. She checked me for metal. 5 minutes later I was done and on my way after taking a snack and a bottle of water..I was out. Literally, the easiest medical procedure I have had done.

That sounds great. When do you find out the results?

They said it should be in the chart in a few days. However, this was not through the same health system. I hope I don't have to chase down the results..I still haven't gotten called about my cardiac referral. I guess I will need to call about that tomorrow.I suspected I would have to wait for an appointment .but it would be nice to have something on the books.

It takes me five minutes to take my metal piercings out. Then much longer to put them back in at home. I'm glad it went quickly and easily for you.

I was pleasantly surprised,,,although I wouldn't have minded hanging out in the waiting room a bit longer so I could have skimmed the magazines.

Me too The tech doing it was a bit annoying, but I was in and out so fast, it didn't really make a difference.

The only “prep” you have to do is NOT take calcium for a day before the test. Wish a colonoscopy was that easy.

Yes, "I heard in the US they give snacks if you have a scan, can we possibly implement that here?" They would probably laugh, and ask you if you wanted a lollypop like they give to kids.
