Grumpiness Today

I love a nice warm day but with no rain, no breeze, no rain, and no cool nights to sleep by it is getting old. It has been in the 80s the last few days and that has been nice. Nothing but heat and more heat most of the time. It gets old. I turn the A/C on and I can't write or do any paperword cause my paper flies away. I turn it off and it's hot in my room almost immediately. My knee and hip don't hurt as badly when it is not HOT. I have an appointment with my doctor the last week of August. If it's too hot I will have to reschedule it.
I will be glad when the fall hits. Autumn leaves, being able to see through to the street again will be nice too. And maybe we will have some fogs this time. Last year not so much.
Hope you are all enjoying the summer.
Sorry for the grumpiness. I know many enjoy the heat of summer but I am not one of them.

I "enjoy" the heat as long as I can stay in the air conditioning. 
We got a couple of nice storms the last few days and a rain during the night last night. It didn't help with the heat but I like watching the lightning...

I can't handle it. My daughter takes medicate that makes her sweat and being out in the heat too long makies her sick. I wish we'd get some thunder and lightning. We've had a drop or two of rain all summer. I think there might have been a lightning clap once but I missed it. It's been a very strange summer.

@celticeagle It started storming around 5:30 pm today. The forecast said 0% chance of rain... The temp dropped from 95F to 90F in the last half an hour. 
In June we had cities around us flood. In July, we had flooding again. Then the super hot temps.... And now we're getting hot temps and rain both.

@DaddyEvil .......I envy you folks who get these storms. We just get heat and dryness. Ugh!

It's been 80s and 90s. I have a doctors appointment at the end of the month. I hope it isn't too hot to go.

I hardly know what rain is anymore. We get a couple of drops every once in a while. It's pathetic.

Everyone gets grumpy sometimes….dont worry.
I have not been coping well with the heat. I have not been sleeping at night and catching up in the day ….its not good.

I don't think anyone is. I don't sleep when it's hot. I stay up until 3 or 4 waiting for some cool air. I will be so glad when Fall hits.
