An upside down house - interesting afternoon spent

Upside down house

We had an interesting display at the city and spent a Sunday afternoon exploring it. It was a house constructed upside down. The furniture on the inside was all on the ceiling and kitchen and bedrooms were all topsy turvy. It was about 20 minutes of dizzy fun and photos. Have you been to a display like this?

I have never seen a house being upside down in my lifetime.

I think there was a house built in the same way. I haven’t been there myself, but I saw it on TV where they featured it on a show. I believe they took that idea from the picture and applied it here as well.

This looks like a display in a few cities.

@pitstop upon checking in chatgpt, it seems there are many in my place that had that house.

Yes, there is one in Branson, Missouri. It’s a real hoot.

I don't think I have ever seen anything like that. I have seen upside down Christmas trees though.

The Christmas trees sound interesting. How do they look or how are they supported

@pitstop They just hang there..I think not sure how they are suspended or how the ornaments stay on. I am sure they need something a bit extra to hang them so gravity doesn't take them down.

@pitstop The upside down rooms are seen through peepholes. You walk around the rooms in a hallway and then out an exit.

I have heard of them before but have not been to them. It would be fun, but might also be very disorienting.

I haven't been to such an interesting building before. It sounds to be funny to visit it.

When I was young, a tornado came past my parents cabin in northern Wisconsin. It passed within a few hundred feet of the road near their property. Power was out, trees were down and branches littered the road. We got the chainsaw out and cleared the road. There wasn't anyone that lived nearby us, so we drove to the closest houses. A couple were destroyed and in pieces. We came upon one that had simply blown over and it was resting on its roof and leaning against some trees. We crawled into the broken windows to see if anyone was in it. They weren't. It was odd to see everything upside down. I have only seen photos of the house you're talking about but I'll bet it was crazy to see it with everything in its place, just upside down.

It would be quite amazing to do through this house, especially if everything was upside down.
