Thursday is our shopping day, I do love going shopping with my Mom. As a treat on a Thursday, we have part baked baguettes with some sort of cooked meats. We finish cooking the baguettes in the air fryer ….just seven minutes and they are lovely and crunchy. Today I had Turkey ….my favourite ….and a sliced pickled onion. Mom had gammon ham with sliced beetroot, What food do you look forward to having ?

I don't know that I "look forward" to getting more of the breakfast sandwiches but I do like it when we have some in the freezer. Pretty brought a box of 12 of them for me today and, since I only ate a small bowl of cottage cheese for breakfast, I microwaved one when the groceries were all put away and just finished eating it. Delicious! Uhm... I don't know if you like cottage cheese but I like large curds in whey. It's just barely got any liquid in it. I like to chew the curds.

I love cottage cheese. I had some the last two weeks . I do think it’s getting expensive though. I only like the plain cottage cheese, you can get it with lots of things added…..pineapple, onion, prawns…..but I don’t like any of those. If I’m trying to lose weight I use it in a quiche too. It’s very good.

@Traceyjayne I've never seen cottage cheese with stuff added to it. I know some people use it in their cooking but I never have. Years ago, I didn't like cottage cheese or yogurt but, when Pretty was born and even up to three years old, she didn't weight enough to satisfy her doctor so he told me to feed her yogurt and cottage cheese... The only way Pretty would eat it was if I took a bite first. She was a funny kid! I got to where I liked yogurt and then cottage cheese. Now, she likes yogurt (But she prefers Greek yogurt and I can't stand that. It's way too thick!) and cottage cheese and I don't have to take a bite first.

@DaddyEvil …..lol ….its good you no longer have to take a bite first ….. I worked with a dear friend years ago that couldn’t stand cottage cheese …. We used to eat our lunch together, but whenever I took cottage cheese she would sit at a different table … until I had finished then she would join me …she couldn’t even stand to see it. I admit it doesnt look that appealing though !

Thursday is going to end soon here. Waiting for tomorrow for the PM's speech as it's independence day for India. Also waiting for the outcome of the high level meeting of Putin and Trump.
