What random expense did you end up regretting

Sewing Machine

I had bought a sewing machine some years back with the intention of starting some stitching work as I did not have a job at that time. But just a few days after I bought it I had health issues and so it was just lying in the cupboard. Then I got some online work and that has kept me busy since. The machine is still lying in the cupboard. Sometimes I think of giving it away but not able to make a decision. Regret investing money in this. Could have used that same amount for something more useful. Have you regretted any expense ? The image is courtesy Canva. My machine looks similar.

@allknowing Yes now nobody would want it. I had given it away when people were still using it.

Perhaps you could sell it or start a new hobby. We bought an air fryer but didn't like it much so that eventually got sold.

I am sometimes tempted to sell it. Or else give it away to someone. At other times I want to learn to make soft toys and start using the machine to stitch them.

@mayka123 I guess one thing you might want to think about is that if you ever sell it you might never buy another.

I get that it’s tough when something you bought with good intentions ends up unused.
