Employees of the United States Coast Guard Great Lakes (USCGGL) answered an emergency call from a kayaker who was in trouble on Friday afternoon when the kayaker was near the Burke Lakefront Airport in Lake Erie..
The USCGGGL sent a boat to rescue the kayaker to get on board their rescue boat and take the kayaker to shore safely.
The kayak was then towed to the Gordon Park Marina the same day. The good news is that the rescued kayaker was not injured in the incident,

That is a good idea to have a companion when going out on the water in a kayak.

Some people need to realize they can't operate a kayak in all waters.

At least the kayaker had their phone with them to make the rescue call, or else they might have been in even deeper trouble.

That is true since it is better to be than sorry.
