I got cutest benefit from rain today

It is my first experience catching live fish... Good evening all.. We are experiencing heavy rains since last 4 days and due to this fishes swept in from nearby water bodies during flooding or overflow in rivers and ponds..Storm drains and drainage ditches can also overflow during intense rainfall, carrying fish with them and depositing them in unexpected places.like our cultivated lands.yes lots of fish came to our cultivated land...enjoying with neighbours by seeing them and catching them..it is our dinner for today...it is a good and thrilling experience one should have...what do you say ?! Catching is fun but cleaning the fish is not fun I literally dislike its smell ....so we went to the chopper for fish cutting... Have you ever experienced this ...how many of you like these type of fishes rather than seafood?

Welcome to the site I don't have an experience of catching fish but yes it is fun as people say. Oh yes cleaning fish is a big task and it smells bad and thats the reason I can't stand in the fish market.

@Kusumakrishna If you cook fish with lemon juice, it reduces the fishy odor during the cooking and after the fish is finished cooking.

@DaddyEvil Yes, have you ever tried it? Asking because I heard when we add lemon for hot recipes or while cooking.it turns into bitterness. Not Particularly with the fish.It is for the suggestion for any kind of recipe

When I was young, I liked to go fishing but didn't like cleaning fish. My dad or brothers always cleaned them for me. I grew up on a farm and, several times, rains caused our two ponds to flood and we walked through the fields and picked up live fish. Some dad put back in the ponds but some became meals that day and for a few days afterwards. I can't eat anything from the sea/ocean. I'm allergic to those.

In sea food, Protein like Collagen are allergic to some.But many say seafood is the best among rivers and ponds. Have you heard about it?

@Kusumakrishna I can't eat seafood, no matter what kind it is. Doctors told me to stay away from it.

@DaddyEvil when it is suggested by professional we have no comments on it. Apart from this doctors usually suggest seafood rather than ponds. Have you ever heard it incase of anyone?

some species of fish comes from sea. But farmers cultivate fish in ponds and reserviors. When those have over floods in the ponds or reserviors.fish flow along with the water to unexpected areas.like we experienced today
