Friend looks amused. Nice to have a face to put to Friend.

Ha, don't think he was in fear, but maybe the real one would have been another story

@snowy22315 I hope that I never encounter anything that looks like that.

I was just there. Didn’t bother with the museum, just looked around the gift shop. The statue was apparently the most interesting part of the setup…and it’s outside and free.

The museum was cool, and low cost. Wasn't Point Pleasant a cute little town though? There was a nice little park and boardwalk along the Ohio River where you could see 3 bridges. Did you see that?

@LadyDuck When you were reading about Mothman did you read about that bridge collapse into the Ohio River during the time there were sightings. 100 ars went in the water 46 killed.

I like them too. It seems like the ones I have been to lately are all theme based.

My son is interested in seeing this. Maybe someday he can get there. It does have a sort of Ripley's feeling.

Yeah, and they even have something similar to the Men in Black which presumably were government operatives not wanting the word spread. You know how the government was into keeping UFO's secret from the public which presumably what Mothman was. Another thing though was that near that time there was a bridge that collapsed into the Ohio River killing 46 people. There was indian lore that a harbinger would come of warn people of that..Mothman..coincidence or destined?

We know that there have been UFO's. And Mothman may well have been part of that, who knows? I am not going to say what is and isn't true, but it appears Mothman was a real thing.
