As long as the egg is cooked all the way through, no runny white or runny yolk, then it's fine.

@Traceyjayne If I see uncooked egg on my plate, I'm done.

These days I eat a boiled egg late in the evening. They are supposed to induce good sleep

@Traceyjayne I asked the Net and I got this answer
Yes, eggs can potentially help induce sleep, primarily due to their content of tryptophan, melatonin, and vitamin D. These nutrients can promote relaxation and drowsiness, leading to better sleep quality.

@allknowing wow ....thank you for the information X I had no idea. My partner takes hard boiled eggs to work with him and has them for breakfast but I will tell him to have them for supper now .... He works away so is in a different bed each week , he doesn't sleep well. The eggs may well help.

I can't handle sunnyside-up or poached eggs. I will eat scrambled, omelets, quiches, deviled eggs and egg salad.

I like them all ways really; poached, fried, scrambled, boiled (hard and soft), baked, made into omelettes, frittatas, egg-drop soup, egg-fried rice, pasta carbonara; they are very versatile. But I would get sick of them if I had to eat them every day I think.

@Traceyjayne It's a Chinese soup, generally some kind of broth and then a beaten egg is poured into the hot soup as it is stirred so the soup cooks the swirls of egg into strands. It can be made with any kind of soup really, as long as it isn't too thick.
See for example
