Do you do your grocery shopping at Wal-Mart? I found a decent product for fairly cheap and thought I would mention it. I know I am always looking to save a few pennies here and there and this one is a good deal in my opinion. The Great Value Meat Lovers Breakfast Bowl is at my local Wal-Mart for $2. I could buy all the stuff and make it myself but that would cost more and take a lot longer to prepare. It’s frozen and takes about three minutes 15 seconds to heat it up in my microwave. The flavor is fairly good; I tried one just adding a little pepper to it and I tried it with a little hot sauce added. I will be adding the hot sauce from now on as it gives it a little more flavor and kick to it. They do also have bacon or sausage ones too but for me the meat lovers wins out. If you’re like me and most days don’t have breakfast or a very small one these are great. They are quick and don’t fill you up too much and of course for $2 I don’t think you can go wrong.

I only get the more expensive Jimmy Dean ones because they have turkey sausage and the Walmart brand doesn’t.

oh yeah, I didn't know that was an option but I'm ok with normal sausage.

$2 isn't awful. If I break that down, that's $4.57 a pound. It looks like something quick, easy and convenient though. As for Walmart, I absolutely do buy groceries there, but of course, like most things, I shop the best price, and Walmart doesn't have the best price on everything.

I guess by the pound it's not bad. I like that it is quick and easy to make in the morning. Yeah Wal-mart might not have the best price on everything, but I don't like going to multiple stores or I just get everything there.

@Bensen32 I don't go to multiple stores on the same day. I run my pantry like a business and keep extra stock and track of things. When something goes on the list, I am not out of it, I just need it soon, so that way I can manage my shopping according to what I need and who has the best price for it. I save thousands a year doing it this way. I'd rather go to extra stores than spend more hours at work making up the difference to pay more at one. One thing I tend to look at is how much I make at work per minute (although I am retired now). Let's say I make $15 an hour. That's 25 cents a minute. I ask myself, do I want to work 2 extra minutes to pay 50 cents more for something? Usually, the answer is no. I don't want to work any more than I have to and so I mind every single penny. lol

We have bought those before but the Jimmy Dean variety taste better to us. We don't mind buying the Walmart brand on things as long as we can't taste a difference.

@Bensen32 True, it just depends on your taste buds which you prefer. On a lot of foods, the Walmart brand is fine but once in a while, the brand items taste better.

@DaddyEvil I do agree with you on that. There are a few things I don't get store brand.

I don't always eat breakfast, so I usually just buy eggs and use them in some way. Frozen breakfasts are not bad but I always need stuff that I can throw together to make regular meals.

I like that I can make these on a workday, and it doesn't take long at all to make and the cleanup is much easier.
