Siomai is one type of steamed dumpling. There are many out there but I prefer this one. It's made of pork and shrimps. It is one of my comfort foods. I just dip it into soy sauce with calamansi and chili. Have you every tried this?

We don't eat pork, we eat what is halal and the Siomai here only uses mackerel with sago and wheat flour. For the sauce, we use peanut sauce.

No, I have not tried it. I don't eat non vegetarian so frequently, also we don't get sea foods so abundantly as don't eat sea food so frequently.
