Advantages of living in a semi rural town

We shifted here a few years ago after my husband's retirement We spent our prime years in a city and have experienced hardships living there. This place is not over crowded and that makes it easy to get attention no matter what the service Everything is at a ston's throw away We also get consultation over the phone and only if necessary will the doctors suggest a visit.

During the pandemic, doctors wanted to do everything over the phone and I refused. If they can't see me in person, then they can't diagnose my problems or help me. I won't pay for "pretend" services and that's all over-the-phone doctors are... Pretend.

Nothing has gone wrong so far as I am concerned. They do sometimes recomend uiltra soundn or scanning which can be done at any place and the reports are WhatsApped. In any cfase even a personal visit does not mean they will physically check you Those days are gone forever

They are as advanced as any other city and there is no pollution and they are not over crowded

I also hate city life. I live in Delhi which is most polluted and highly dense city. Life is fast here , always have a traffic jam on the roads. I always wish to settle in a small city/town after the retirement. I don't know if I will be able to do so. These days I have seen people don't like cities they want to move to rural areas but the things like job, business, education of the kids don't let them to do so.

Lovely indeed I know what you mean. I have lived in small rural towns too in life.
