What a Pity

We are staying in a small airbnb place but its a nice and clean place. The staff is also well accommodating but I just notice one thing. There are 2 shittzu in a cage near the gate. They all have water and food but their cage is only covered with plastic wrap and a piece of cloth to protect them from the pouring rain or heat. They have no blankets at all. I asked the caretaker about it. They admit that they are actually quite neglected and only allowed to go out the cage when there is no guest. They said it was because they are too aggressive. I do pity them since I am a fur parent myself. They are looking me in the eyes and whimper as if asking me to.let them out. My heart breaks. Photo of the dogs on a cage

They should be given a blanket at least. Can you talk to the owner about it?

This would be very strange to me being at an Airbnb and having someone's pets there.

It’s so important for pets to be given proper care, space, and socialization.

If the owners say they're aggressive, then you don't want them out of their cage... Aggressive dogs bite without warning and may decide you don't belong there.

I am sorry to know this. Maybe they are aggressive because they are not being let out and they are not train to be with people because they are always in the cage

Maybe it's better for the safety of those nearby!
