What a Pity

We are staying in a small airbnb place but its a nice and clean place. The staff is also well accommodating but I just notice one thing.
There are 2 shittzu in a cage near the gate. They all have water and food but their cage is only covered with plastic wrap and a piece of cloth to protect them from the pouring rain or heat. They have no blankets at all.
I asked the caretaker about it. They admit that they are actually quite neglected and only allowed to go out the cage when there is no guest. They said it was because they are too aggressive.
I do pity them since I am a fur parent myself. They are looking me in the eyes and whimper as if asking me to.let them out.
My heart breaks.

That is true. I do not understand why they let the dogs stay there.

@cherigucchi Me either. They would not have gotten a good review by me.

If the owners say they're aggressive, then you don't want them out of their cage... Aggressive dogs bite without warning and may decide you don't belong there.

That is true. I am wondering why they have to let them stay in that place. They should have kept them in their home.

@cherigucchi Maybe the owners treat them badly and that's the reason the dogs are aggressive?

I did not have the time to report it. But I talked to the caretakers and asked them to let them out.

I believe so. Though I saw the caretakes let them out because there were only few guests that they locked the gate and the entrance to the guest house.

No blanket at all. Owner was not there. Only caretakers who take them out of the cage when there are no guests or at least a few guests.

I believe that as well but at least they should have kept them in their home not in the place where there are guests.
