I don’t know all the details yet as I am still traveling in route
The mother in law was driving on the expressway and got lost and got spooked by a semi and she crashed herself into the barrier
My husband and his brother are there with her now. They’re taking her car keys away and having "the talk" with her. We’re going to call tomorrow to get her mental status evaluated

I do hope that she will be okay.
Had she moved into the new accommodation ? Was she not familiar with the area to be driving ?
Thinking of you all x

Prayers, many years ago something similar happened to my Grandmother. My Mom had to take her car keys away from her. It saddened her but it was for her own good.

@looeyville That’s horrible for her but at least now ‘the talk’ has been forced and hopefully she’ll be willing to stop driving.

I’ve been praying for her daily. Hope she wasn’t hurt. At least your brother-in-law has seen the light…hopefully and prayerfully, not at the expense of her physical health.

I don't know how old your mother-in-law is or if you take any medications that may have contraindications for driving, but the best thing is that for now you take some time to not do it. It's good for your children. Talk to her and try to assess what the reason was that may have caused the incident. It is important that she is in good physical health, and we must thank God for that.
