New York Police Department (NYPD) officers Andy Guo and his partner Chris De Sciora were at the right place at the right time on Sunday August 10 when a house on West 36th Street and Canal Avenue caught fire from the back part. The two police officers risked their lives to save the two occupants who were inside the home since it would have been too late for the firefighters to douse the fire. The two police officers broke the glass window in the back of the burning home to get inside to rescue the two men and their dog who was barking to wake up his owners. The dog who is a golden labradoodle named Sea Biscuit was also rescued by the two police officers before the local firefighters came to put out the fire. Both officers were treated for smoke inhalation while Andy was treated for a cut on his arm when he broke the window to rescue the two men and their dog. The good news is that no one was hurt in the fire which is under investigation by the authorities. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/cri...

So glad that only a cut on the arm was the only injury. Smoke inhalation is bad news.

I think rescuing people on time will avoid too much damage and it will always save the lives of others most of the time.

It sounds like that Police Officer has watched too many movies, breaking the window with his arm, and I wonder why he didn't just use his police baton to do that with. Nevertheless, a good rescue was made there.

Most likely the officer acted on fear and not common sense.

Well, I'm very detailed and I thought that these things happened in Venezuela, but the news says that no one was injured and above it says that one of the firefighters was treated for a wound in the head. Arm then I don't know how that happened, however how fortunate to know that there were no deaths or human losses to mourn.
