I've finished it

My birthday was at the end of July and our Irish son gave me a Miss Marple jigsaw. I started it probably about a week ago and I finished it last night.
It was easier than I thought it would be but the flowers were quite tricky. I did the ‘blocks’ of one colour first then the people. The dark areas were the hardest but it’s finished now and one day I’ll do it again. It will be easier second time around.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You do puzzles again? I always gave them away after I finished one.

@JudyEv I had a puzzle made with Pretty and several friends in it... That one is put away and will belong to Pretty one day. I've put it together once when she was away at college. I'm not even sure she knows I had it made. She'll surely be surprised when she finds it along with other items I've put back for her.

@DaddyEvil That was a lovely idea. We had one made for my sister featuring some of her goats. We used this picture.

I am tempted to go for one now Have not done any in years. That must be quite satisfying when you complete it

@allknowing Mostly I find it relaxing unless it's a really hard one.

It’s a lovely jigsaw. Miss Marple is one of my favourite characters. They have just placed a statue of Agatha Christie in her hometown of Torquay, in Devon . Agatha Christie of course being the author of the Miss Marple mysteries.

I did a post about her (Agatha Christie) being one of the first women to stand up on a surfboard (in the water of course).

I sometimes do them online too. I only do 100 piece ones online.

@judyev Isn’t it so satisfying! We usually leave ours up for a few days - seems so wrong to dismantle immediately but we got our last one finished just before our Scottish daughter arrived to stay so as soon as it was complete it had to be deconstructed to accommodate her.

I do them on a big piece of board. It's a bit like cardboard. Then I can move them to a spare bed or whatever if I need to. If someone is staying over, it gets more difficult. I like to leave them up for a few days at least.

@JudyEv — that’s one you’d like to matte and mount in a frame!
