I am asked to increase the amount of water I drink every day. While drinking water is not a problem it makes me use the rest room that many times I drink. A nuisance if you ask me How do you cope? Do you drink water frequently and face the same problem.? Any solution?

I tend to drink a lot of water and yes, the whole bathroom issue can be a huge disruption. I try not to drink much if I know I'm not going to be home so I don't have to worry about finding (or using) a restroom.

I get what you mean—drinking more water is good for the body, but the constant trips to the restroom can feel like such a nuisance. It almost feels like the more disciplined you try to be, the more inconvenient it becomes. For me, I try to spread out my water intake during the day instead of gulping large amounts at once. Sipping slowly helps the body absorb it better and reduces the sudden urge. Also, drinking more earlier in the day instead of late at night saves me from too many bathroom runs when I’m about to sleep. It’s a bit of a balancing act, but over time the body also adjusts.

I don't like drinking water since it is no taste. But I also know that water is the best drink. Therefore, when I am in the office, I will try to drink water more often. And my trick is using a big mug and therefore I have to drink a lot of water every time

I keep water with me all the time and drink when I see the container or when I feel thirsty. I drink more water to help keep my kidneys functioning smoothly and to rid my body of acid that can cause problems. My doctor says I eat too much meat so I can get gout if I don't drink extra water to flush uric acid out of my blood/body. Uric acid forms crystals deposits in the joints of the toes, feet and fingers if it isn't kept flushed out of the body. I've never had crystals in my toes or fingers but I have had crystals form around a bone in my foot that I broke when I was a kid. When that happened, it felt like I was walking on glass. The pain only lasted a day but I don't want it to happen again. I will not give up eating meat. And, yes, I have to use the bathroom frequently.

@allknowing It only bothers me when I have to wake up from a deep sleep to run to the restroom. That's why I usually only sleep two or three hours at a time. I rarely feel thirsty but still drink when I see the bottle of water beside me.

All through the day I drink iced tea usually with lemon in the morning in my big cup, during the day some juice if I have it at home, and always have a jug of boiled cold water in my fridge, Yes, the bathroom need gets to be more as I drink more but the hot weather caalles for it, I already think I dring a lot and could not drink any more,

I don't know if there is a solution. I cut down my liquid intake if I'm expecting to go out.
