I am so sorry. I have known several people who have dealt with that, including my brother. It is a good reason to put your feet up for a bit to promote healing.

@looeyville That’s very painful. I had it on an eyelid once. When I went to the doctor she gasped, put her hand to her mouth and said “Oh my god that looks awful”. It was, but antibiotics cleared it up.

I’m thankful they caught it quickly so it doesn’t morph into something more serious. Cellulitis can be very dangerous if not treated early. Rest up and get well soon!

Well, I have also had cellulite very few times, but I think on two occasions, and the truth is that it is painful, it gives me fever, the part where the cellulite is bulges, I am particularly allergic to it.Yes, ciprofloxacin gives me a reaction every time I take it and it is the antibiotic par excellence for skin and soft tissues, so I always have to resort to other means. I hope you are well.

Sorry about that.. Good thing is that it's caught in time and can be treated with the antibiotics. Get well soon.
