This salad is overloaded with carrots

I am eating a packaged Asian salad. This is my second time eating it. I don't recall there being a lot of carrots in the first go round, but this portion is literally loaded with carrots. They must have all sunk to the bottom. I feel like I am eating a bowl of shredded carrots with a few bites of apple and lettuce. Good thing I didn't add any! Do you ever eat packaged salads?

Yes, I do like to eat salads sometimes, but I have mostly been filled with arugula and I am not a big fan of its flavor. You can add a little dressing if you don't like carrots very much so you can eat them as you like. I always have dressing with me just in case.

It did have dressing, but having 90 percent carrots in a salad just isn't that appetizing unless you are some kind of carrot freak.

@YuleimaVzla If I wanted a bowl of carrots, I had some in the fridge could have used.

@snowy22315 They mistook you for Bugs Bunny
But you're right, when I want salad I want a wide variety of vegetables and legumes, I want to appreciate all the colors. Seeing everything green or everything red or everything orange even makes me feel bored.

I guess I should have mixed it up more before I started eating it, but I don't recall having this issue previously.

They are handy to have around sometimes.

I have had a few of those packaged salads, but they are often way more pricey than I want to pay. My favorite salad is built on a base of fresh chopped Romaine lettuce--I just buy the heads of lettuce in the package or loose if they are available. Tomatoes are always on my salad as long as I have them...I do add other things, depending on time and availability. Most of the pre-packaged salads are too large for me to eat all at once, and if son doesn't want any of it, I have to eat it quickly as it doesn't seem to retain it's crunch and freshness. I do love my Romaine salads.

Alot of the packaged ones supposedly contain 3 servings, but I eat them in two. The small round ones in a bowl are individual servings usually.

I am a carrot fan, but I do not want my salad to be all carrots.

Salads are good. I like a salad bar that has sunflower seeds and raisins.

Very rarely. I actually have a Cobb salad in my cart for Tuesday. So many packaged salads have recalls; so I'm always leery.

Nope. I always have home-made salads. Packaged ones are a disaster!
