A man came to m yt store today. He was looking poor. He has to buy some things.But he told me he had no money to pay and that he would pay the bill soon.
At first I was confused if I should agree and give him the things. I saw him. He was looking very poor and innocent.
Just then my mother came. She took pity on the man and asked me to believe him and lend him the things he wanted.
I lent him the things he had come to buy.
Now I'm waiting for the days when he comes back and repays me his. debt

Thank you. It was just a small amount. Otherwise I I never give anything to any customer if he doesn't pay its price. Now I have to see if he comes back to repay it.

@Shivram59 Small amounts add up to big amounts eventually, and maybe this guy goes and tells his friends, "Hey, there's this really generous shop owner," and then eventually a bunch of poor people come in looking for the same deal.
It's like putting milk out for a stray cat. Next thing you know you've got 10 hungry cats on your porch looking for milk.

I'm always an easy mark for people who want to borrow money and never repay it. I feel sorry for them and give them the money. Pretty gets mad when I do that. I can't blame her... I used to give away too much money. Now that the money is hers, I don't offer to help other people.
Sometimes the person needing to borrow money or stuff is honest and repays you. Sometimes they aren't. I hope you did the right thing.

Thank you, my friend.
I know you are a kind-hearted man. I don't know why and how your posts evince your kindness.
My mother always says that I should help those in need?, the poor. But now I have a small business of my own. I have to think before lending a stranger some stuff. I'm waiting for the day when he comes and repays the debt.

@Shivram59 You're welcome.
Helping people is good but making sure you and your family have enough should come first.

@DaddyEvil What I earn from my shop is enough for my family. I now earn much more than my salary as a job holder.

Well, everything is relative, however you look at it, you did well to help someone who was in trouble, that makes a good Samaritan What happens is that sometimes there are people who are shop owners and some other people take advantage of the kindness of the owners.Many people ask you for something on credit and then you see them eating in restaurants, spending money elsewhere, but they don't pay their debt to you.Although the saying goes: do good and don't look at who... You must learn to identify who you can help and who you can't.

Thank you, my friend. It was my mother who asked me to give him what he wanted. Now he will repay the debt or not, I don't know.
