Outcome of That Housing Call

As I had posted we got a call the other night from Housing saying our recertification packet had not reached them. They overnighted a copy of it to us. I filled it out night before last and we all signed it. Then yesterday my daughter took the bus (we have no transportation) up to the office. We had never been to the new office so I called and got directions and surroundings so it would be easier for my daughter to find. She said she had to walk around a bit but did find it. Got a receipt also so there should be no problems. She got tired of riding the bus so she walked home. Silly girl. Luckily it wasn't one of the hotter days. We've been having a cool spell. So, the redone paperwork is now in the mailbox at the Housing office for the woman who called about it. I hope there will be no more problems. Every year I get nervous about this time. We have the recertification to do and three (3) inspections. My anxiety rises because I have the two kids to depend on to get it all ready. I do the paperwork though. If we didn't pass and were evicted for some reason, we would homeless. We have no family here in Boise left. So that is always in my thoughts and makes this time have added properties that cause me stress and anxiety. I have gotten better though over the years. We've lived here over 20 years. I don't think I will ever know what happened to the original paperwork. A glitch or fluke or something, I guess. I think we are good for another year.
