It is Labor Day weekend!

It always makes me sad because it is the informal end of summer and it means I have to go back to work. 2 years ago my father passed after an ocean accident on this weekend so that makes it extra tough.
I didn't leave the apartment today because I was waiting for maintenance to show up. The head guy did visit, saw what was up, and said he'd be back like 2 hours later after his lunch break. I was fine with that because it has been so cold at night lately that the pool is COLD.
Tomorrow morning the cleaning lady is showing up. She says 9:30am so I figure she'll be here by noon. 
My cousin is having people over tomorrow at 2 but I probably won't make it. I'd like to see everyone but I'll probably be just soaking in the pool while the cleaning lady is doing her thing and then I won't want to drive 30 minutes to get to her house.
In any case I will try to soak up all of the UV and vitamin D that I can. This is the last weekend for the pool. I'm dark enough by now for ICE to deport me. I just hope it is to Mexico and not South Sudan or El Salvador.

Thanks. It feels like it was just last week or month. Poor Dad. That man should still be with us. He was living his best life. I told several people at his memorial that I would happily trade places with him because he was the happiest MF-er you'd ever meet. I still feel that way.

I also want an extra holiday weekend which I do not get at all. The cleaning lady seems to have trouble keeping up with time. 9.30am and arrived at noon. I will always get to my part timer to ask on her status in case she is in some sort of accident. I worried that may have happen. If American ICE is to depot me, they will likely to depot me to China which I will need to take another couple of hours flight before I can go back to Singapore.

It sounds like you're hoping for an extended vacation in Mexico instead of going back to work.

I'm sorry this is a sad weekend for you. I totally understand. I hope you can enjoy the pool before you have to go back to work.
