Ice hockey players of the National Hockey League (NHL) called the Seattle Kraken went fishing in the Katmai National Park in Alaska on Thursday July 31 when the players saw a brown bear who was in the water walking toward their mascot Buoy.
The interesting part of the story is that the bear went after the team mascot due to the costume before the mascot as well as the hockey players left the water unharmed.
Thank goodness no one was hurt in the incident.

If they didn't go into the park they wouldn't run into the bear. Bears have to have a place to be. He didn't know it was a costume.

Oh my goodness! Scary. I have seen two or three videos lately on Instagram of tourists filming bears just strolling along in Downtown Gatlinburg! I know Gatlinburg is in the forest area of the Smokies, but still, I would freak out if I had been traveling there and saw one on the side of the street near the gift shops.

That is true since bears can outrun any human being in a foot race,

I'm glad no one was injured. That's a common sight in Alaska.

Most likely what happened since bears go by their instincts.
