Get the onions pulled and sliced. They are in the freezer now for use this winter. I didn't pick any grapes. Might do that tomorrow after I get the shopping done.
I have 8 eggs in the incubator now. Also had a very tasty roast for dinner. And played on my phone a lot.
I need to water plants yet. Catch ornery rooster and put him in the barn. Then put the chickens up for the night. Write my shopping list out. Then I will be done.

@wolfgirl569 - This is the perfect time of the year, still warm, but not hot, no need to heat the house.

@LadyDuck We have actually kicked the heat on a few nights. 40s gets very chilly

The Grumpy Rooster! It reminded me of when I also had a bad-tempered rooster and in fact he pecked very hard. I think one of the things that I would not be without in my fridge is to have onions ready to use. The kitchen without onions is nothing.1 person likes this

@wolfgirl569 I think he wanted to walk around the yards, mine was always loose, but I don't know why he was in a bad mood, mine really pecked hard, and he even drew blood from my dad's calf many times.

Uh huh... So you were being lazy again today... We all know how you are... 
I just made hamburgers and four cheese pasta for late lunch... I need to go in and put the leftovers away in the fridge.
I'm still hoping I can see well enough to drive tomorrow... I need to get a jumpstart and take Pretty to the doctor for a blood screen and we need to do a little shopping.

At 5 am, I could see fine. Now my right eye is swelling closed. 
I already called the garage for a jumpstart but it's raining so the mechanic called back and said he'd come when there's a break in the rain... If I can see at all, I'll still take Pretty for the blood screen.

I hope you get baby ducklings this time from your eggs. And roast for dinner...YUM!
Slicing a bunch of onions is a lot of work. But at least you have them in the freezer now for winter.
