I had the Pecan Oatmilk Cortado yesterday

Yesterday while I was out and about I took advantage of the chance to go to Sbucks and get the cortado. It was quite small, but since it is an expresso based beverage, they didn't want to make it any taller I guess. It was quite tasty, and taste a bit like a small slice of pecan pie in a cup, without the goo factor. Would I get it again? probably not..although it was quite good..it was a lot of money for the something the size of a dixie cup.

I used to order a cortado in Spain, espresso coffee with a little warm milk added to cut the acidity. For a larger quantity "café con leche".

@snowy22315 - I like espresso, if it's made with good Colombian coffee, that is not too acidic and not too strong. I usually add a little warm milk to mine at home.

You don't have trouble with oat milk? It always upsets my tummy. We use almond milk for everything here.

No, I love it. Almond milk isn't as good for you as they would lead you to believe.

They do like to get pricey, don’t they. I haven’t ever had a beverage from Starbucks, and only used their drive thru once for a snack.

They do, but most of their coffee drinks are fairly delicious, so I guess people will pay it based on results. Usually when I go there I will get just get a regular coffee. Once in a while I will succumb to a fancy drink though.

Yes, maybe they will have 2 for 1 again or something. They usually put holiday drinks on special around Tgiving.

I have never heard of that and I don’t go to Starbucks, but I have to say it sounds delicious.
