I really like this weather

I am really feeling able to do things in this cooler weather. I even feel I can bake. I have put together a "Farmer's Casserole" to bake in a bit. After I work on the trash I am also going to make a bread pudding of a sort. The bread for the bread pudding is actually made from Kodiak Cakes muffin mix. I got it at a distressed freight store and it did not really turn our cranks so to speak. We ate a large part of it, but then got tired of it. It is VERY whole grainy. I had put it in the freezer until we wanted it some more, but I am going to mix eggs, milk, vanilla and sugar and pour over it. I will bake it and the Farmer's Casserole at the same time. I am just glad it is cool enough to do some baking. Our high today was 76. We went to church and we did a little shopping. Bob made brats for our lunch, which we had with kraut and baked beans. He is napping. I am doing lots of things, including meal prep. It is a good day.
