Have You Tried Any of Those New "Designer" Sodas?

I don't know what else to call them. Perhaps you know a name for them. Brands like Olipop and Poppi that add probiotics, prebiotics and other "healthy stuff" into a carbonated canned "soda" beverage. I was wondering what all the hype was about, so I'm trying them. Today's is a root beer. It tastes good. 35 Calories. 3 Sugars. Oops! 11 Carbs. Uh-oh, that's not good. Anyway, I was curious if any of you had been trying them and what you thought of them.

No, I won't pay $2+ per can for Poppi.

They really have become ridiculous with all these new drinks. NONE of them are cheap. Just makes no sense to me. They CAN'T cost that much more to make.

I just think of them as healthy diet sodas, although I’m sure it’s better if I never had one. But it’s better than regular soda! I’ve tried Olipop, Poppi, and one other I can’t remember. I’m not crazy about them.

Never heard of them, I don't drink too much soda but do like to have some around, Just changed my order to my old time favorite Diet Pepsi,

@looeyville I’m trying my best not to fall for this nonsense - I’ll stick to whiskey. And water, but not in the whiskey.

I haven't tried any of them but the calories and sugar seem doable

Not a single one. I don't drink soda, for one, and most of these are way too expensive.

Pretty buys them. I tried a taste of one of hers and didn't like it.
