I watch some daft programmes, I really do !
At the moment I am watching a programme called “ First Dates “
This is where single people go to a restaurant for a blind date, a nice meal and a few drinks. It’s all recorded.
At the moment one if the people on a date is a lady who I have seen on other programmes …..
As she married a ghost !!!
It’s one thing saying you believe in ghosts, and also you have seen a ghost …..but to say you had a relationship with a ghost and married them …..not sure I can accept all of that ….
What do you think ?

There is a ghost in this house. She looks to be a lovely young lady but I don't see how anyone could marry or have a relationship with a ghost. The ghost here is usually sitting on the edge of my bed when I wake up and then walks out of my room through the closed bedroom door if I move or say something to her. (My bedroom is always dark. I have blackout curtains over the windows.) The first time I saw her watching me, I thought she was Pretty watching me sleep and couldn't figure out why she was in my bedroom... I asked "What are you doing?" and was shocked when the ghost got up and walked through my closed bedroom door.
We do see her in other rooms of the house. A lot of the time when I'm cooking in the kitchen, the ghost stands in the corner, watching me chop onions or stirring something on the stove. (When I first mentioned the ghost to Pretty, she thought I'd lost my marbles until she saw the ghost watching the fishies in their tank in the living room.)

@Traceyjayne The age comments wouldn't be as fun if I wasn't older than you.
I think so, too. She's always wearing a pale green dress with those little shoulder sleeves that don't connect to the dress in the front or bottom. They're just for looking pretty, I think. The dress doesn't reach her knees, either, but it's not very short. The hemline is just above her knees and the dress looks floaty, if that makes sense to you.

@DaddyEvil the sleeves that are not attached to the dress are not to look pretty but because she didn’t have much money and couldn’t afford whole outfits, the sleeves could be added to different dresses ….dresses without sleeves were cheaper …so if they hadn’t much money they would buy dresses without sleeves then just one pair of sleeves to wear with all dresses..
I am old so I know that !

I don’t watch First Dates, but I’ve seen clips on Gogglebox. Not heard about the woman marrying a ghost, but I did read about a woman marrying a rag doll. She’s even claimed to have had a rag doll baby too. I think that’s just as bizarre as marrying a ghost. There’s some crazy people out there!

I remember her from a clip I saw when she was on This Morning, talking about marrying a ghost. I recognised her when I saw her on First Dates, she mentioned a relationship but not that they had married. She may be had been told to tone it down.

That's very strange. I believe in ghosts but haven't seen one and don't want to see one.

Do you think all ghosts will scare you ? Do you not think they might be friendly ?

That’s definitely one of those stories that makes you stop and shake your head. Believing in ghosts is one thing, but marrying one takes it to a whole new level! I guess for some, it’s more about the symbolism or the emotional connection they feel rather than something literal.
Personally, I’d say it’s entertaining to watch, but hard to truly accept as reality. Still, shows like *First Dates* thrive on these unusual stories—that’s what makes people keep watching!

I could never marry a ghost if she was friendlier than Casper the Friendly Ghost,
