My Bedroom Closet...you never know what you're going to find

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a nice, sunny day here today with temperatures in the 70s.
I'm just sitting here, enjoying my coffee and trying to decide what I want to do today. I have a few things on my "to do" list but don't know if I'm in the mood to tackle any of them. Each thing requires time and energy and I guess I was feeling ambitious when I added them. 
I think I've mentioned many times that my bedroom closet needs organizing. Its been the place where things go to be forgotten. I have more clothes than I need and so many things have gotten shoved to the back of the closet. I recently found a shirt that I had totally forgotten I had and when I pulled it out to wear I noticed the tag. The brand was from Fashion Bug which was a store I loved but it closed back in 2013 (I had to look that up). So, my nearly new shirt has been sitting there just waiting to be worn for all these years. Yes, I'm almost embarrassed to admit it but I'm wearing it today and happy that I have a new shirt to wear.
Makes me wonder what other gems are hiding in my closet

I know I have too many clothes stuffed in my closet but I keep new stuff on the left side and older clothes on the right side. Things in the middle are what I've just washed and put in the closet.
I found a belt I don't remember buying in there a couple of weeks ago.1 person likes this

I have my summer stuff on one side and winter stuff on the other side. Both are jammed full and I tend to just use the stuff that's closest, wash, and rehang. I haven't even looked at the shelves but I know there's lots of boxes with shoes I'll never wear sgain.

@Marilynda1225 The bottom of my closet has boxes of shoes I bought years and years ago. The shoes I actually wear aren't in the closet. I have a pair of sandals beside my dresser that I wear most from spring to fall (and two new pair of sandals in the closet) and three pair of sneakers on a shelf beside my bed that I wear during the winter months.
I haven’t found anything lately I forgot I had, but there are plenty of things I want to find, and will be excited when they turn up. @Marilynda1225 (86130)

Lord only knows. I am trying to work up the nerve to tackle mine. Maybe I will do a shelf today. That sounds manageable.

Doing a shelf sounds pretty doable. Trying to tackle it all is overwhelming if its as cluttered as mine is

I enjoyed fashioned bug too I was a bit bummed when it went out of business. That really was a long time it sat in your closet lol.
I want to get an ammo can painted but my anxiety is high today for some reason so I’m putting it off.

After my husband dide for about a year my brain was on non-function, I left Latvia with many things left behind, Some I gave to my stepdaughter but a lot of things were just left where they had been from year to year, If I had had the chance to look over everything it would have been amazing what I found but I was not functiong on all cylyders, I only know about what I gave my stepdaughter but have no idea what happened to everything else,
